"lol" doesn't really concatenate well with any of these names, so I'm just going to say Carragher which is basically the same thing

Harharragher

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 17 June 2010 16:43 (fifteen years ago)

Don't care as long as John Terry gets sent off, misses a penalty, cries like a baby or dies in a fire.

James Mitchell, Thursday, 17 June 2010 16:47 (fifteen years ago)

is my vote but also

i think putting lol into the name of a player gets funnier the more it just doesn't suit their name and is thrown in anyway somewhere. of course i know i am alone in this, and ronan especially hates it but i've got 35 sbs left so i'm cool. jamie carragh-ha and michaell uprofl ftw.

I'm with you, one of my favourite lol insertions is Hulol, because it would completely change the pronunciation of the word.

The proper conjuction in this sentence should have been 'and'.

I was thinking Lawlson maybe.

dan m, Thursday, 17 June 2010 16:55 (fifteen years ago)

Rest Carragher and play Dawson

When you see the 3 names (not incl James) back to back like that it really does seem like a stark choice. Then again Algeria were woeful vs Slovenia so I'll go for Carrick (has played c-b for Utd this season yeah?)

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

Nice to see that my idea of John Terry dying in a fire got more support than Carragher.

James Mitchell, Thursday, 17 June 2010 23:16 (fifteen years ago)

Inevitably the answer is indeed Carragher, unless Capello has stuck him in goal and given James the nod instead.
