I remember when ilx had standards and values, the sort of solid values a body could count on, count on to pull them through when days were dark and you couldn't find a decent bolt of pre-war cloth for less than your aunt's fanny. Those were the days. It's not like that now, not a bit.

the rent of your aunt's fanny, or actual papers of ownership?
― Remember when Mr Banhart was a replicant? (darraghmac), Tuesday, 22 June 2010 16:18 (fourteen years ago)
t'was a matter for negotiation. we'd each bring our lawyers along to the pub and let them tussle it out while we enjoyed a good round of darts.
― Aimless, Tuesday, 22 June 2010 16:21 (fourteen years ago)
well yes i understand that, but what was the outcome demmit
― Remember when Mr Banhart was a replicant? (darraghmac), Tuesday, 22 June 2010 16:21 (fourteen years ago)
we generally held out for a short term lease. we missed out on many a bolt of good cloth that way, but what you lose in the roundabout you make up on the swing.

roundabouts? swings? kinky old bird, that aunt of yours
― Remember when Mr Banhart was a replicant? (darraghmac), Tuesday, 22 June 2010 16:24 (fourteen years ago)

Imago
Stop nominating shit without bothering to link it. It's an awful, showy, nonsense habit and you know you're doing it.
Next time I'm starting a ban drive.
Warned.
