Not as creepy as strangers adding pictures of yourself as a teenager wearing school uniform as favourites. Uh oh, someone's getting blocked.

Unsurprisingly, I usually seem to get users called things like HOMOEROTIC PENIS FEST adding loads of my drawings and then mysteriously being banned from Flickr a few days later.

If nobody 'favourit-ed' my unremarkable pix I wouldn't have any 'favourit-ed'.

I find it mildly amusing when people favourite something like an art deco house and then you click on their other favourites and it's a sea of stockings and boobs, interspersed with...er...a few art deco houses.

This is another sub-group. Photos you think have been made favourites by someone interested in, in this case, late 19th century pubs. Turns out they were actually interested in the women on the left and all their other favourites are 'leg shots'.

Yeah, I have favourited a couple of pictures from strangers because they were good pics, or of something interesting. I guess I was reading 'unremarkable' as meaning a crap snap of you and your mates in the pub or something.

I have a little bald and bearded Jewish man who favorites nothing but the photos of me. I am confused by what this means, because he does take portrait shots of people, but the photos of me aren't any good at all.

My flickr favourites would confuse anyone. Paisley, swirly pictures, whatever hott DJ I happen to have a crush on this week, the occasional naked man, odd architecture, sea arches, more paisley. Oh, and synths. I have a couple of synth porn shots favourited.

Actually, that's a pretty good representation of my personality.

yeah be careful out there guys, my mate had a photo of her mum favourited so we checked out this guys flickr.

his photos consisted of about a dozen stalker snaps of women walking past his car, whilst parked in a shopping mall carpark.

See, I'm not really sure that bothers me particularly. I guess it depends what you mean by 'stalker snaps'? What's the difference between Bruce Gilden (for instance) and that? Apart from artistic considerations? I'm not articulating myself very well and Gilden isn't a very good example because he's very much in the face of his subjects but basically I feel that, sure there are some creepy folks out there but there's not much I can do about that so I don't really care. But then I am extremely free and easy with my pics.

in the past i have bookmarked photos for what must seem (to the owner) like random reasons but in reality it's been for a colour, pose or texture reference for my drawings. so hopefully at least some strangers have legit reasons for this.

i got rid of my flickr account cause crepes kept favoriting pictures of my cute female friends

Why didn't you just make it private, or just let yr friends see it?

no one I know uses flickr, so I don't really go on there, ever, unless something pops up in a GIS or someone links to their page
