In fiction i notice everybody wants the good news first, I've never understood that. Give me the crapola first, then cheer me up later.

I want the news in the order that the person usually means to deliver it, ie. if the bad news makes no sense if I haven't been told the good news yet (eg. bad news: it's dead. good news: i got a dog.). When someone asks me which I want I usually jsut say "whatever, you pick." I hate when people ask.
