Did I miss the noms thread for this as I can see several sitcoms which would get my vote ahead of these selections i.e. Bilko, I dream of Jeannie, Cheers, Roseanne, Barney Miller, Golden Girls, Scrubs, Big Bang Theory etc

Okay, I haven't heard of any of the first four. And only vaguely know the names of Family Matters and The Honeymooners, without having anything other than those titles to give an indication as to their content.

There wasn't a nominations thread. I just went with things from the '70s thru the present (with a few earlier exceptions) that had long, popular runs (or short, posthumously popular runs).

enjoyed all these. least fave would be night court. by a mile. wait, i take it back, i WATCHED night court but very rarely enjoyed it. kinda hated everyone on the show. was really glad that ellen foley left cuz i like ellen foley. possibly the least funny cast in history. even selma diamond.
