Ah, Sicinski - I like the cut of that guy's jib. Nice write-up of Ben Rivers in cinema scope last month.

Way more promising than the past few years, and fewer films that already have distro. And Keiller!

I liked but didn't love the new Andersen. Not wild about most of the other stuff I have seen.

I know some folks in the last program but my friends are both in the 8:15 Saturday program. I really do think this looks good, but maybe it is very typical of this program? It's much more extensive than other experimental programs in major festivals.

It definitely looks like a good program! There just aren't many surprises. Mc3lh@tt3n definitely has strong preferences. And apparently friends.

I saw a screener of the Andersen for something I'm working on. Maybe it's better in the theater?

And yeah, it's definitely better than some festivals, but Views kind of feels entirely separate from the rest of the NYFF. The crowds are definitely different.

Guess I was mistaken on the Godard. But come on, someone will release it. (It's really good, btw, and definitely worth seeing on the Alice Tully screen).
