anybody else suffer from this? I found out I had it years ago, basically just leads me to extreme ear itching, to where I scratch the canal of my ear (which I know I'm not supposed to), which leadsd to wax build up, which leads to using the ear syringe, which leads to swollen ears, and reduced hearing until the swelling goes down. this cycle repeats every few months.
what do any of you guyst ake for this stuff? I have insurance but due to the dumb plan I chose this year I haven't met my deductible yet and my HSA is earmarked for other meds so I'd rather not visit them until January after I switch plans.

Not specifically for the psoriasis in my ear, I have for it on my scalp, but they just gave me a stingy painful steroid lotion I couldnt use too often. Obviously I cant T-Gel my ears, so I dunno what to do, I seem to spend forever picking skin flakes out of my ears :/
I do NOT want anyone rinsing my ears out with liquids. It just isn't gonna happen. So I dont know how else it'd be seen to.

i was diagnosed like 10 years ago, got prescribed some kind of cream and ear drops, and they worked pretty good, but I forget what kind. and then I never refilled them. i couldn't find anythign OTC (where I just went) other than earache relief which I can tell is gonna not do much of anything even tho it purports to have anti-itch properties. course that's just treating the symptom :/

I live in a country with national health, I have no fscking excuse. I just hate going to doctors. I should get my hearing tested, as well.

i know for a fact I've suffered some hearing loss but i attribute it in addition to hurting my ears by improper maintenance, to also going to concert after concert without earplugs, and listening to music at volume 40 in my car (41 is the max)

You should see a doctor (when you reasonably can) and explore treatment approaches. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that manifests as inflammation in various parts of the body. The inflammation happens because the over-active immune system is attacking healthy cells and stimulating excessive cell development. Methotrexate and biologics (like Humira) can limit the inflammation by reducing the immune response. Topical ointments can help calm the inflammation, but do little to address the trigger for the inflammation. Maybe you can tolerate the discomfort in your ears, but it's symptomatic of a disease that may need more aggressive treatment.
I've had psoriasis since childhood, and I developed psoriatic arthritis in my mid-twenties. I used to view it as a tolerable nuisance, but I've come to understand that it is a serious disease. I don't mean to freak you out, and I am not a doctor, obviously.

I'm lucky I dont have it badly anywhere and it's never spread - just patches on my scalp and now this flare up in my ears. I'm 39 though, and I'm always pretty stressed and i drink a fair bit, so may be stressing my body too much.
