which ilxors are embedding themselves into the community as corporate shills, and what products/services are they pitching?

I figure Ned Raggett's 100,000 posts are but a prelude to a shameless but good-natured astroturfing campaign, e.g. "*flounces off to FYE to pick up the latest Arcade Fire album* A mere $29.99 on vinyl, rah!". I'm onto you, Ned ;)

I'm sure there are other such tricksters among us, but I'll rely upon more discerning folks to unmask them.

There are many reasons Nook is better than Kindle. I love the 3G, or as I like to say, "It comes from the air."

70 dollars, give or take is such a low price for the maintenance plan, because, whatever, you know, that "not so fresh feeling" LOL lol,.

So Hey, etc. do you want to move on over to the register?

Sad but true, there are plenty of people willing to stan for almost any corporation's products without being paid for it or even being asked to do it.

I believe I've been periodically posting "Yahoo.com. TRUST ME." in ILX threads for several years now, but I can't seem to find any examples using the search. Which leads me to believe that I may have completely lost my mind in the mid-2000s
