A cover version of "I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing" by Robbie Williams appeared as the b-side to his singe "Let Me Entertain You" in 1998. His version of the song can also be heard in the US sitcom Friends in the episode entitled "The One with the Routine".

in 2008 i was in the czech republic and i was in a car and the friends theme song came on the radio and i was like weird, they actually treat this as an actual SONG here and play it on the radio and then almost exactly 1 year later i was back in the czech republic and in a car and it came on the radio again TRUE STORY
