if you were manager of a club at a level at which the signing of marlon king would be of great benefit to your team (ie. championship level or lower), would you sign him?

my friend's a big coventry city fan. his main reaction today was just relief that the incredibly boring transfer saga, consisting of many news stories about how marlon king was indeed going to sign for coventry spread over several weeks, was over.

i wouldn't really be happy if he signed for spurs, aside from him not being very good.

wasn't he in the running for ROI place at some stage? I seem to remember that he was eligible before choosing jamaica. wouldn't be happy with that either. more so, in fact.

if i was a fan of coventry city i would be delighted by the signing of someone with such a track record of passion, desire and that never-take-no-for-an-answer spirit.

i would be on the lookout for recidivism tho because there is nothing quite like the beautiful city of coventry and its well-run football team to make a man realize that prison maybe isn;t so bad after all.

Coventry would make a useful halfway house for somebody used to staring at grey concrete walls for 23 hours a day, true.

Re Marlon King I'm all for the rehabilitation of offenders etc but this prick still insists he did nothing wrong and has a p long track record of being a dick. Wouldn't want him in my team, not when we have Daryl Murphy banging them in.
