This may've been done before but I have an ulterior motive. Who is your hero? Mine is Pete Baran because last night he heroically assembled my troublesome chest of drawers while I sat idly by watching Emmerdale. Hurray for Pete.

I *am* my own hero today as I did seven hours of ARCHIVING w/o once logging onto the ILxes, and that means I need not go into work until MONDAY!! Hurrah!! I am meant to be working on my book and on a rewrite for wire for the rest of the week: if you catch me posting I am doing it in my sleep and must w/o being woken be pointed firmly yet kindly back to A CRITICAL HISTORY OF MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY HURRAH!!
