Couldn't find an existing thread on the show so here we go...
Caught up on the last couple episodes of season 2 and OK, it's ridiculous, but not without a lot of charm. Unlike a lot of shows I found myself actually caring about what will happen in the next season. Spiritual successor to the Middleman TV series perhaps?

I'm also certain that if I was high school age, I'd be crushing massively on Allison Scagliotti

I like how the show has become a TV version of a radio serial. The 40's themed one only reinforces it.

Soooo weirdly likeable! Has some really funny moments between characters which I think are more the actors vibing off each other than they are the writing, bcos the writing is p bad.

Yeah, it reminds me a lot of the old Friday The 13th TV series - both in plot and in reveling in its own nonsense. Great comfort food show.

I've been watching this show on Netflix when I have boring doc review stuff to do at home and I am enjoying it very, very much. CCH Pounder! Every episode passes the shit out of the Bechdel test! So much goofy weirdness! Totally agree with the Friday the 13th the Series comparison, especially since that show was my jam back when it first aired (I tried it watch it again when it became available on DVD but the cheesy production was overwhelming).
