I need the protein but who wants to live in a cloud of beanfart hell?

Your system gets used to it pretty quickly; you won't be floating on a cushion of fartgas for the rest of your life.

Are you ovo/lacto, vegan, or what?

Nuts and seeds and grains and soya milk are all good protein sources that won't make you fart. Also, aside from beans, there are smaller amounts of protein in other fruit and vegetable sources. If you make sure that you have a good varied diet, all these little bits will add up over the course of a day, so it's not difficult to meet the recommended daily amounts.

Lentils aren't as bad for farting as beans imo. Quinoa another option (though personally it upsets my belly, though in a non flatulant way).

Whey protein. I had way more gas back when I ate cheeseburgers, oh man...phew!

You have to think to yourself just how committed you are. If you're not willing to fart for vegetarianism, what ARE you willing to fart for?

I fart for no cause, only for glory.

I like cheese and I kind of resent eggs but they end up in my foods. I think meat is sort of gross and it seems like most research shows its not as good for you as plant proteins for longevity. I mean, I like cows and chickens, they don't seem like they should have to die. I think fish on the other hand are just swimming white sides of food.

Aim for whole wheat when it comes to carbs.

the human body doesn't really need a lot of protein if you're just trying to maintain. - you get more than enough from just having a varied and balanced diet
