Uh, sorta related, CBC Newsworld is reporting RIGHT NOW that Nova Scotians, despite statistically unhealthy lifestyles, are producing (if that's the right term, I suspect not) 25X more Centenarians than the rest of North America (Avg is 2 per 100K, NS has 50 per 100K).
Maybe they were just holding a grudge against Hope (and Bob Hope) and now that he's gone, they can let go. Like Burroughs and Ginsburg.

I don't know exactly that's just what they said "among the most unhealthy lifestyles in the country" or some other typical CBC vaguary.
I would guess napping on the railroad. That's an unhealthy lifestyle. I tell you what.
