there's this security guy at work who took the time to learn most of our names (out of hundreds of people) and always greets us by name and tries to get us to smile and reminds us how close to friday we are.

really small thing but it usually starts me off on a good note when I enter the building -- guy brings good positive energy.

also the girl I am seeing now has lately taken to sending me texts in the morning wishing me an awesome day. being that my ex was either asleep during those hours or never bothered to send me those types of messages, it really makes me smile that this one does.

That's definitely good work by that guy. Too many people bringing negative energy around, guys like that should never have to buy a drink again in their lifetime.

yea it was pretty impressive cuz he started calling me by my name early on and I thought it was cuz he was reading my badge but then the few days I forgot my permanent badge he still called me by it. and he seems to know a lot of the people in the building.

very friendly guy, would be sad if he ever left.

things like this make me think I should have kids soon.

we had a security guy like that at my old job. I swear he knew the names of all 1500 employees.

I can be introduced to one person, not even a group, and ten minutes later I'm like "you make a good point -- I have no idea what your name is, but you make a good point."

when one of the female interns here bends over to shred paper...makes the day a whole lot brighter.

Got a really sweet letter in the mail from the girl I dated for a week before she moved hundreds of miles away.
It had a card with a sample of each shade of nail polish she's worn since moving to Milwaukee.

letters in the mail rule. i haven't gotten one in 4-5 years (discluding bills and crap of course). like the personal touches yer friend added!
