The only thing I can personally confirm is that Midland, MI deserves no accolades for anything.

Actually the town of "Midland City" in Breakfast of Champions I always envisioned being Midland b/c it pretty much fits the description perfectly.

Casper is in one of the ugliest parts of Wyoming, and it has terrible fucking weather. Terrible! Everywhere in Wyoming has terrible fucking weather, but at least most of the rest of it is gorgeous to compensate. It's really far away from any other cool big cities (as far as "big cities" go in this part of the U.S.), it's just maybe the worst city to pick in Wyoming next to Laramie. I'm really appalled.

I voted for Helena. Would not mind spending the rest of my life there, probably!

Have you 3 people ever been to Casper? Or are you just listening to the sweet lies Daniel Johnston tells?

17th Century Catholic Spain (Abbbottt), Friday, 5 November 2010 02:16 (fifteen years ago)

DO you know about the kind of people that come from Casper?

I've been to Casper a few times and it's not so bad. There's good Mexican food, an alright record store, lotsa movie theaters, a small but active arts community, and it's within a days drive to Thermopolis and Yellowstone.
