I have no fucking idea what to get my dad. I don't just want to get him another book or film or something wood related (he does amateur carpentry). Don't want to get him clothes because he is losing mad weight but still fat. Brother got him this really cool painting and is working way out of my price range. What is both cheap and awesome?

Things he needs most:

A new pc
A cleaner (he's not dirty he's just a middle aged man who lives most of the time alone)
A new camera maybe?

None of these things are within my tiny price range.

Also my sister but I am thinking of just getting my nephew something, blanking her and claiming poverty [/the fact that i cannot fucking stand her and have avoided her the past 6 months]

do you mean a cleaner (person) or cleaning tool? just wondering, cos with the latter there are some cheap options.

Or you could go for a cleaning service gift cert. for a 1-off house-cleaning. Might be a bit too $$ for what you're after though. But they're a good way for someone reluctant to maybe try them out on a regular basis when they see everything all spic n span.

Or for sentimental value, get an old family photo reframed. Personal stuff like that goes a long way, without costing $$$$. My brother did up a calendar for me with old fambly photos in it: best gift evar
