Do you remember this TV programme, starring that woman who played Nyssa as a blind kind of psychic girl in ye olde times? It was set near that chalk horse in England, and was about this magic horse which various evil people were seeking to control for their EVIL purposes. However, because the horse was magic, if you saw it you were doomed to DIE in the near future. The horse kept nuzzling up to the heroine but fortunately she was blind and couldn't see it so she didn't die.

It was very good.

Yes I do...BBC children's drama was great in the '70s: The Changes, Carrie's War, etc.

misterjones = quite clearly mad. i always hate it when "influences" (hem hem) that you forgot about turn up like that. I remember writing a lengthy imaginative essay at school that was self-consciously a Narnia rip-off, but I had a castle with the name "Taren Capel" which I had made up and was really proud of cos it sounded Narnia-ish, but WAS MY OWN INVENTION. Some years ago I saw "Dr Who and the Robots of Death". Taren Capel is one of the main characters in it.

I was 24 at the time... and that was just the teachers... and then I got off the bus... ect

eleven months pass...

it was called the moon stallion and i thought it was brill. i was about 9 at the time and can still remember it. has anyone got it on video? not ntsc (i think?) ta muchly angela xxx
