Police Squad is really good, but the first Naked Gun is greatness distilled from the series, plus a 20-minute baseball centerpiece that doesn't quit.

Lots of Frank Drebin in the three NG selections.

I almost went with the first NG for the baseball sequence and the Montalban-Nielsen exchanges.

Airplane because Police Squad isn't here. 30 minutes was the perfect running time for Drebin & co.

airplane is the funniest overall, but for the realest nielsen content it's def ng 2.5

this has actually become a mantra in my house. we just walk around and whenever something is going well, we say "nice beaver!"

Airplane is nowhere near as good as Naked Gun 2 1/2, which is Nielsen Nirvana.
