I think it is only Paramilitary groups that are keeping the balaclava market afloat.

Davel, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Do any men still wear Garters?

Davel, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I would have said chastity belts but I met a girl with one the other day.

Davel, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

mark s, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

OK but can it still be a bit about hats? Specifically, they are not worn nearly enough these days.

Archel, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Cod piece
Ruff

jel --, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I have 2 pairs of fingerless gloves and have worn them both relatively recently. I nominate spats.

RickyT, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Ditto the hats (i. e. I own 'em but never have the nerve to usae 'em).

Tim Bateman, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

james, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Aren't about half these items still worn by either goths or SCA rejects?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

HAHAHA i am imagining RickyT doing the safety dance! what the HELL is a safety dance anyhow (apart from that genius song)? NEVER MIND. it's the most fun i've had all day!

katie, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

what the HELL is a safety dance anyhow

Something apparently done by medieval midgets.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I have fingerless gloves too. And hats. And a pair of pixie boots.

Anna, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

(but as any fule kno anna is a Fashion Guru so all these things will look wonderful on her, chiz for the rest of us mortals)

katie, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you calling me a medieval midget?

RickyT, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

ho Ned, now i am imagining RickyT dancing around an 18 inch high model of Stonehenge, like in SPinal Tap! thank god it's nearly home time, eh? (actually maybe not - Rick will likely KICK MY ARSE when i get in!)

katie, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Aww thanks Katie. I am also picturing Ricky dancing around Stone Henge. **

Anna, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Hurrah! I have spread merriment. :-)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Phingerless gloves ov the sort w/padded palms and lycra backs are commonly worn by bicyclists. (Not by me tho')

Norman Phay, Monday, 5 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I dig those.
Wimples
(I awoke to burglars in my house and arghhh all I was wearing was a pair of spats, I efficiently got a towel to put on but the spats were poking out the bottom of course... not one of my best fashion moments, one should always combat intruders in attire that doesnt require the use of ones hands)

jeskam, Tuesday, 6 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)
