Are there any establishments you order from often enough to be able to do this? Isn't it lovely?

there have definitely been places like this for me in the past, it rules. one place i just walked in and nodded and they knew exactly what i wanted.

one time i went to a strip club with some friends for a bachelor party and this one stripper walked up to me and said "cafe americano!" and i realized she was a barista at this place i went to constantly when i first moved to l.a.

this happened to me last week with a place i've been going to a lot the last few months. has happened a couple of times in the past.

Yeah, I only order gyros at the local Greek place. I've experimented with other things, but there is nothing more satisfying in the world than pita, tomato, lamb-stuff and tzakakakiaji sauce in my mouff.

anytime i approach this level of familiarity at a place i feel the need to change things up

I get this at the canteen on my school's campus. lol

used to be "salami pizza" at this place 25m from my apartment. almost felt bad when i moved without letting them know.

Prosciutto sandwich w/extra garlic at Angelo's Deli in Long Beach.

I haven't lived in Long Beach in several years, but they still remember me and my order.

This breakfast/lunch caf next to my office, if I go at breakfast-time. Sesame toasted with scallion crm chs, tomato, and bacon. I just get in line and nod. It's pretty great.

There's a guy at McDonald's who will see me pull in on the other side of the building and will usually have my McGangbang ready for me by the time I get to the window.

home bar, my favorite deli and several other lunch places

I don't have this, but my wife does. Special tacos plate, two guacamole tacos on corn tortillas, sides of refried beans and rice, and guacamole salad. And iced tea.

sad to say but many a bar knows what I'm drinking when I walk in. some have even taken to buying Hazed and Infused because they know I will order it.
