F-in Toothache!

Help. I've got an incredibly massive toothache...I have a cracked tooth and have a dentist appt scheduled next week...hopefully they'll rip the fucker out. I've got some temporary dental spackle in the hole but its fucking killing me. I've tried advil...nothing.

weird.. just last night one of my front bottom teeth started fucking KILLING if i even touched it a tiny bit. it still fucking SPANGS when i do. i've been eating soup. doesn't hurt at all if i don't touch it, though. here in evil commie england with truly socialized medicine i was able to book an appt for today at 6pm. i am kinda fearful. i can't remember the last time a tooth gave me trouble. it's right in the front, too, i don't want the be a snaggletooth for the rest of my life.

does it hurt when you're not touching it chris?

clove oil rubbed directly on to the area always helps me, but its a temporary fix

Again. Sorry this is like the fifth time I've given this advice on ILX probably, but Advil Extra-Strength Gelcaps. And warm salt-water swished around the area regularly to pull some water out and reduce swelling. Or clove oil on the gums. Or whiskey. Or, frankly, antibiotics, because what's making it hurt is an infection that's going on inside.

yeah its a little sore without touching it. I've checked for abcess an i dont see one. Problem is i cracked it so bad the root was exposed. I think i have some leftover vicodin at home from throwing out my back. Cant wait to go home. I'm falling apart at 36.

I have three more bad teeth now, after getting all that work done about 3 years ago. :( Prob in line for three more root canals, managing the pain on a daily basis right now. Shld go to dentist but no idea if it will end up costing me, and I just can't face another outstanding bill.

And I'm younger than you. And my teeth have been doing this for the last 15 years -- basically I'm about ready to extract the half of my mouth that won't stay in one piece, and only save the well-behaved front teeth which seem to be invulnerable.

im missing 4 teeth from hockey and losing those felt nothing like this.

thank god the local natural food market carries clove oil, heading there at lunch.

just got the clove oil i tried swishing it around with water and it made my mouth numb. rub directly on area?
