someone please tell me exactly what a facsimile edition is? and i apologise if thats a stoopid question.

surely it is just an edition which is like a photocopy of each page of the original (well, not literally a photocopy, but you know what i mean) ie reproduces exactly the original page layout etc?

Yes, a faithful reproduction of a printed bk OR manuscript.

this is a bit silly.

afaik, you don't have to be a special academic 'hipster' to go to humanities 2, and you only got to rare books if the book you've ordered up is -- yes, really -- rare. there are lots of hott girls in H1 tho, but let's not make a big thing of it.
