this browser window popped up, it looks like advertisement for firewall software. what was disturbing is that it contained a window in which i could browse my c:\ drive, and they were implying that anyone on the net could do the same.

i think this is a trick, here's some script from the html page:

let's see if that does anything, i was actually hoping to just provide the text of it, so you could see it, but i bet it will do its scripty thing. you can look at it in the source. anyways, i did a port scan and leak test and my firewall seems to be working properly, i don't have any file sharing running currently, etc. that is why i think this is bullshit. can anyone confirm or deny?

oh, thanks for sorting out that stuff i pasted. obviously i'm not doing business with these jerks, but i can't really figure out if there's anything i can do about this. it bothers me. i called their billing service, who gave me an email address, so we will see if they respond to my complaint or not.

it wasn't geeta, she just had the sense to close the table tag, so that's where the script landed. oh, right, you are joking. well, my email came back undelivered, i would really like to kill these bastards. i think i may try to convince thier billing service to stop working with them. unless they are IN CAHOOTS
