I admit that I am a parent who sometimes posts parental-type status updates on FB. But man, I'd rather read about people's kids than get another link to what somebody said about Keith Olbermann or Sarah Palin or whatever.

I am so happy that no one on my friends list posts about politics ever.

No one's really awful about their parent-related stuff, although I probably post too many pictures of my kids, to be sure.

A friend's sister today posted a 35 second video of her newborn baby daughter watching Bette Midler's new tv special. Which was simultaneously cute bc aw new mum and all but also, um, you know it's probably not Bette the baby is staring dazedly at right?

But I dunno, I have friends who would be all over this blog for the lols but it seems like an easy target. Some of the things like being sad at dropping your kid off at school are genuine things, maybe not always FB worthy but...I dunno. I'm conflicted

I hid all the moms (and it was all moms) whose lives revolve around their offspring. I'll take politics any day.
