I like the ones where he incorporated the drug into the drawing, as if the drug somehow became sentient & felt the need to imagebomb the poor guy's self-portrait.

I won't accuse him of creating these while sober, but I suspect that his enhanced creativity/weirdness is largely psychosomatic, like he's drawing what he thinks someone would draw if they were hopped up on PCP, etc.

can see this cuz he obviously wasn't trying to prevent it, but his basic approach seems legit to me. like, the things that seem most satisfying to look at and do change radically depending on yr chemical circumstances.

You should check out some of the other not-on-drugs stuff, a lot of that is equally out there.
