Definitely "A Pair and A Half of Nerds, though "Halves of Men" gave me pause. The latter sounds like a Children of Men prequel.

i like Charlie Sheen's Harper Boys, makes me think that Charlie Sheen conceptualized, wrote, and directed a movie about a gang of Old West train robbers.

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 28 January 2011 20:22 (fourteen years ago)

Charlie Sheen Aspires To Be Dan Fielding

Because it's true.

Rotating & Blunders (MintIce), Saturday, 29 January 2011 20:16 (fourteen years ago)

Can't decide on one; so many of these are great. For some reason "Two and a Half" cracked me up.

True story: I had a dream that the guy who plays Alan was killed or fired or something, so the show was just Charlie and Jake wandering around, the show was re-titled "One and a Half Men" and the theme song was changed to "man, man, man, man, manly man, man, man...". I realize that's not hilarious but it's the first time my brain ever came up with a good joke in my sleep, kinda freaked me out

Two Men Half Gay

An Artily Shot Sesame Street (Eazy), Monday, 31 January 2011 18:32 (fourteen years ago)

FWIW "Halves of Men" is completely understandable to Finns as a metaphor, i.e. "half of a man" = not a proper man.

Tuomas, Tuesday, 1 February 2011 09:47 (fourteen years ago)

I guess the idea is that neither the kid nor Charlie Sheen's character in the series are proper, grown-up men.

If I know anything about how Chuck Lorre sitcoms work, I know they'll keep it thoughtful and really develop her character.

Oh wait, that's not how it will work at all.

I think it needs to change to the more socially responsible "Two and a half people"

frogbs, Thursday, 11 July 2013 14:10 (twelve years ago)

believe it or not, a few years ago I fell asleep while this was on TV and had a dream that Charlie Sheen had left the show and it was just called "One and a Half Men", with Alan bickering at himself the whole time, and the theme song and opening title sequence had all changed to say "Man" instead of "Men", one of the weirdest and most vivid dreams I ever had. and it turns out it was sort of a premonition, too.

ok so ahahaha first the kid goes crazy christian and doesn't come back and then they introduce amber tamblyn as this long-lost adult daughter and now in the final season jon cryer and ashton kutcher get married so that they can adopt a new young child. it almost makes me want to watch this

celfie tucker 48 (s.clover), Friday, 28 November 2014 19:35 (ten years ago)

i saw a few minutes of this a few weeks ago because it was on in a bar and it was just so depressingly drab and dull-looking it kind of bummed me out. at least past generations got to watch shitty sitcoms that were wacky and colorful and full of slapstick-y hijinks.
