NYC FAP '011: Saturday, Feb. 19

Dell and I are going to be in NYC on Feb 18 and want to plan a big FAP so we can all hang out and buy each other drinks and shit! Is anyone free/down for this? We don't really know where or what time but this will all be worked out.

Something cheap, if you ask me. Sorry to still be a bummer but we're struggling to pay back rent and get out of this apt and I just have no idea what's going to happen. So I guess my caveat is that I might also be in the middle of moving/packing at the time but believe me, I WANT to come out and will do everything I can to stick to it.

We still don't know where. Someone suggested LES/E Vill/somewhere around that area bcz it'd probably be the most central/accessible? I really don't care as long as it's not super expensive and super pitch-dark, and there's room for all of us to, like, sit down or whatever.

The only NYC faps i went to were in a bar off Houston street... mookie? ally? alex? Laurel? Anybody remember which bar that was?

i had a great time! it was so cool that people came out, and in such numbers. it really was kind of like a big reunion of nyc folks, i guess

i kind of wish i had talked to more people and stuff but it took me until like one am to get myself in gear. i should have done pushups beforehand or something.

anyhow it was really great meeting ppl, such a fun night overall. plus i had a blast beforehand just walking around the city and eating delicious food!!

also afterwards steve and i went to a diner and a fight broke out and the management ended up calling the police... oh and for some bizarre reason i was carrying around a single cigarette, even though i haven't really smoked in a couple of years and some woman gave me a ten dollar bill for it.

i assume someone took some pictures? i don't even have a camera on my phone

Brilliant! I'm so glad you and Stevie came, dell, and met us and gave us an excuse to drink together! Hardly got to talk to tza because of seating arrangements but much enjoyed seeing her -- the last time we were together was in Seattle, imagine.

I have to work on my stamina and not bug out around 1am; I'm afraid I turned OLD from staying home all the time. Lovely evening, freezing cold, I'm so glad all the troopers said "fuck it" and left the house anyway.

I had been drinking since 2pm and was in the area but then got too tired and too cold and too hungry and too windblown. I think I was even only 8 blocks away at one point.

Del and I must have hopped to like three different bars (this dumb place on the corner next to Phoenix, Hi Fi, Doc Holldays, something else maybe) and wound up at this really stupid place on St Marks across from Crif Dogs that had that "edgy" unfinished-building aesthetic (exposed brick! industrial sliding doors! exposed 2x4's on the ceiling!) and $5 High Life bottles. The seats weren't even comfortable; fuck you, stupid bar.

finally made it home with help of new, very costly tire :(
