And people wonder why I loathe him:
In the new issue of Rolling Stone - on stands and online in the digital archives on February 18th (subscription required) - Justin Bieber takes Rolling Stone contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis for a spin around Atlanta in his Range Rover. Along the way they discuss girls, politics, music, Will Ferrell movies – and sex.- He isn't sure what political party he'd support if he was old enough to vote. "I'm not sure about the parties," Bieber says. "But whatever they have in Korea, that's bad." He does have a solid opinion on abortion. "I really don't believe in abortion," Bieber says. "It's like killing a baby?" How about in cases of rape? "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason."

Bieber has too much overexposure. I'm ready for the current crop of celebrities to dial it down a bit because it's turning into Jennifer Lopez Circa 2001 all over again. We don't hate you because we're jealous of your money, we hate you because the blogs and TV shows are forcing you down our throats.

i didnt scream or faint but i LOLed a lot at all the footage of kids screaming/fainting

was this one of the movies where the 3D was cool instead of just feeling like a ploy?

cuz paying $13 to see any movie cuz everything is "in 3D" now is pretty lame

― ice cr?m, Wednesday, 16 February 2011 17:37 (fourteen years ago)
the 3D was pretty unnecessary but it did make some of the concert footage pretty cool
i'd say at least half of it isnt even in 3D

Every time in the past that they've tried 3D at the cinema, everyone gets excited, but then it's just not-quite 3D and gives you a headache. And a whole load of shitty movies that probably wouldn't have been made suddenly do get made.

this is probably true for shit like "Saw 3D" "the last airbender" and i guess the new TRON movie but "piranha 3D" "avatar" "jackass 3D" and "step up 3D" were all awesome
the justin bieber movie is only really 3D during the concert footage and some graphics during the background stuff, but when it is 3D it looks great
― gr8080, Wednesday, 16 February 2011 17:46 (fourteen years ago)

like, he sings and performs a lot but it's mostly the bieber phenomenon refracted through his parents, manager (ok lol mostly his manager, may as well have OPPORTUNIST tatted on his bicep (maybe he does already)), his fans, etc. very little from-the-horse's-mouth

when i was at a monastery in nepal for a month last spring 'baby' was a huge hit w/the young monks, theyd play it on their phones, often walking across the courtyard you could hear multiple copies of it playing in all directions - when i asked a couple of the monks who sang it they shrugged and were all 'young inji boy'
