Mostly starting this thread because someone sent me this http://irinawerning.com/back-to-the-fut/back-to-the-future/ which is nigh on incredible. Apologies if it's already been talked about but I didn't know what to search for. It's the expressions on people's faces that get me. Also the fact that se of the big baby photos are rather crepey.

Completely different just some guy waving a colored light stick in the dark kinda thing, but a lot of his pics have been wallpaper material over the last years: http://www.lapp-pro.de/

Wow. That BTTF blog is brilliant. Idea as well as execution. Don't know much photoblogs but I've been following this one for years. Great eye for detail, composition and light.http://www.nassio.com/empty/

BTTF isn't an original idea, but it's much more painstakingly done that the other one I saw. Very impressive.

D'you have a link to the other one?

the subjects submitted the photos themselves, so they're a lot more cutesy and informal than the Back to the Future one. this one made me giggle just now, even though the idea is pretty obvious:

this blog is pretty well-known. it collects photos from an amateur Chicago street photographer who left behind hundreds of thousands of negatives when she died in 2008. people prone to hyperbole have dubbed her one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century. whatever. they're striking, well-composed photos, and there's sure to be lots more good stuff still crated up and not yet sorted through.

I come back to blog.alexwaterhousehayward.com a lot for the weekly essays/reminisces and selections from a few decades of the old guy's career.
