Just rewatched His Kind Of Woman last night. It could have been trimmed by a half hour, but man both she and Mitchum were so hot to look at. She really was amazingly proportioned, and the gowns were O_O

Saw His Kind Of Woman yesterday, what a weird movie. Jane is so much less wooden than in The Outlaw, and Vincent Price is pretty funny, but Howard Hughes pretty much added Raymond Burr as the Mafia villain and the last half-hour -- with all that torture of Mitchum and Price turning hero -- as reshoots? HH was obv a much kinkier guy than, uh, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Yeah, the DVd has a commentary track that goes into the production history. John Farrow was long gone by the time they shot the boat sadism, apparently.
