Saying hello to old teachers; classic or dudd?

This is likley to depend on how long it has been since the last classroom interaction (if it has been donkeys years then it's likely to be a no go. Their enthusiasm for your academic and career success during school/ college days comes into play aswell as one's own attitude and conduct, but saying hello to blackboard dictator's (although it's all whiteboards these days isn't it) anyway; classic or dudd?

Dud. I don't think I had a single teacher that I respected as a person (as opposed to obeyed as an authority figure).

Dud. I've never thought of going back to my HS because it would just remind me how boring things were and how little I actually learned. Talking to teachers who had high hopes for you way back when is one of the more awkward experiences imaginable.

More or less dud. There were a few teachers I wouldn't mind seeing again. But I had a social studies teacher in middle school that I thought was the coolest ever (although, looking back, I suspect he had a few mental problems - he once walked out in the middle of a class to go buy some Advil, which the principal wasn't too happy about). He seemed to really like me, and I did fairly well in his class. When I was a high school senior, I was visiting my old middle school (my brother was attending at the time) and happened to see my old teacher. "Hey, Mr. _____," I said, "Remember me?" "Yeah, I remember you," he snapped, and walked away.

most of my teachers were G*R*A*T*E. but I always hide from them if I see them on the street because I am *shy*.

I think all my teachers hated me. There may be one exception, though he did throw me out of his class once - my maths teacher. Years later, my wife was working in a shop and a schoolboy colleague working Saturdays or in the holidays commented on her name, saying that his A Level maths teacher was always talking about some kid called Skidmore, and she soon determined that it was indeed me. I think all the others hated me, but he was just sort of puzzled and interested.

ha ha I sold a mountain bike to an old teacher. It was quite an expensive one as well! Classic for me, bring 'em on!

Saw one of my old teachers at my tenth high school reunion -- still a character! The rest -- some good, some bad, no emotional connection.

I really want to see my old choir director again. Actually, I'd like to see many of my old teachers again.
