. Obviously the UK would be a contender every year, Jamaica would be winning a medal of some kind every time, but who else? India, if we can find judges who don't only like Western music. Several strong African countries, particularly Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa, plus lots of strong small Caribbean nations - Trinidad & Tobago, but I think the fanciable dark horses might be Barbados, as they make lovely soca music and take their annual contests (Cropover, sometime soon now, is huge) very seriously indeed. Who else? Are Nauru or Kiribati major musical nations?
