None of these are mutually exclusive with 'in the nude', surely?

anything booze related, if you dont drink...then soda related.

i vote outdoors, when spring has sprung i get my drinking on in my backyard, while smoking meat, and listening to the sox on the outdoor speakers.

not sure what to vote for, i live at an outdoor bar in a nudist colony

want to vote for all of the above, and if people get skeezed by the in the nude option they do not understand bowers and as such are dead to me.

i dont think i've ever drank in the nude.

i may have gotten drunk and ended up nude, but never started out nude.

Apart from a glass of wine or something with a meal, I absolutely hate drinking at home. I don't know why, it sends me into a total depression not long after the first buzz has worn off. Maybe if a few mates are over I'll have a beer or two but if I'm gonna be drunk I like it to be in a place I can leave...
I'll drink pretty much anywhere else, though.

At home because booze gives me the munchies.

yes this is still illegal in glasgow. however i do enjoy drinking a small bottle of md 20/20 while i walk up the gallowgate to parkhead for an evening game. the risk of incurring an on-the-spot procurator fiscal's fine from strathclyde's finest enlivens my eastward perambulation.

wait for real? i visited friends in glasgow and was shocked SHOCKED to learn that i could drink on the train. like i reflexively sleeved my tetley's when the conductor and my friends oh how they lol'd

Totally agree with Laurel on the no smoking = pubs nowhere near as fun thing. 'At home' has now taken over, but I do really mean at home with people over for films or music or general hanging out, rather than at home on my own drowning in booze. Though that can be good sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, will still drink in bars to socialize, no problem. But it takes that just-right note away from the companionableness and leisure value of the experience not to be able to smoke w my beer. Spring can tally fucking ho.

I just started drinking on a regular basis over the past three or four months - about once every three weeks or so and typically and at bars/clubs/parties.

i like a night cap. usually a finger or two of irish or scotch whiskey with one ice cube before bed. i would have voted bar, but still too much temptation to smoke there

Mightve said pub/bar once but then they banned smoking here, so now def "at home", you can watch DVDs, drink, smoke, and slouch on the couch. Nothin finer! I'm doing it right now in fact!

Eh tbh one of my fave haunts, when smoking was still permitted, also did food, and even I as a smoker always felt bad/weird lighting up around people eating, it isnt something I approve of.

i am very fond of stepping outside for a cigarette, not that i ever do that any more ahem ahem.

pubs are best.

so many different contexts within these contexts. at home by myself? not really. at home for a house party or afterparty? yes please! then there's the nice bar/pub where you have a table and space vs overcrowded bar/pub where you end up spilling half your drink because cunts barge into you.

outside/bbq in nice weather is never not sweet though.

i'm not sure my enjoyment of drinking has ever been affected by what clothes i may or may not be wearing at the time.

people stepping outside for a cigarette and leaving the ONE NON-SMOKER ALONE INSIDE = dud dud dud but i am so glad i am not an ADDICT like they are.

People who would sit smoking while they and their friends ate. But, they would hold their cig in reverse, behind their head, cig upright.

So, the smoke would not ruin their dinner. Just the people sat behind them

Beer garden in a country pub is best IMO. Specifically that of the King William IV in Hailey Oxon. They also have a barbecue, grill not a smoker but you can't have absolutely everything.

One of the great sadnesses about living in the US is he lack of pubs in general and country pubs in particular. Good outdoor drinking in Austin, though.

At home -- no pesky commuting involved and bed immediately available to fall into.

"in the nude" is greatly enhanced by being at a bar

it gives your drinking a real sense of urgency
