AT FIRST GLANC,E THIS BUINSS CARD DOESNT LOOK LIKE A BUSINESC ARD AT ALL\

annoys me the most

iatee, Friday, 18 March 2011 04:10 (fourteen years ago)

Web Burza is eye-gougingly ugly.

My favourite: Chilly Pepper. That lonesome carrot is just so inexplicable. (Or is it a slightly orange-ish pepper?)

Myonga Vön Bontee, Friday, 18 March 2011 06:00 (fourteen years ago)

I know one of these dudes.

This is deceptively simple. The initials of the artist were interlaced so intelligently that it looks like an icon.

Uhhhhhhh . . . .

for pure fugliness, web burza. i hate the ones that look like "quirky" free wordpress templates.

minsktrans.by (get bent), Saturday, 19 March 2011 13:15 (fourteen years ago)

the card is both corporately beautiful and elegant.

"hazardous idea division"

difficult listening hour, Saturday, 19 March 2011 15:14 (fourteen years ago)

hazardous idea division guy clinched it by listing his weight and height in metric despite living in america (in fact in my old neighborhood).

difficult listening hour, Saturday, 19 March 2011 15:16 (fourteen years ago)

also listing his weight and height at all, i guess.

difficult listening hour, Saturday, 19 March 2011 15:16 (fourteen years ago)

Really like 'Queen of Diamonds' - that's a super card imo.

Voted 'I'm in the video and animation business"

I feel like there's this whole brand of corporate-speak where simple declarative statements are passed off as insights

these all look hella 'early 2000s'

Hazardous idea guy lists his country as Narnia. How hazardous could his ideas be?

my advice to clients when advising how to produce a unique eye catching business card is elegantly encapsulated in one simple word 'leather'

dunno what any of these business cards would do aside from imply that you really value superficial things and put your money in the wrong places

unless you're a design agency, i guess. and yet then - what if somebody doesn't like the design of your card? i'd figure it best to approach it neutral...maximum helvetica

Can't pick which graphic designer's card is the worst - I can forgive all the other cards for being DIY or hiring an overzealous designer, but a graphic designer really has no excuse for an ugly card.

Elegant Bitch (Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved), Sunday, 20 March 2011 15:37 (fourteen years ago)

voted 'were totally going steady w/teh nets' for the unbearable cloyingness - there are prob worse offenses on there but i had the most visceral reaction to that one

ice cr?m, Sunday, 20 March 2011 15:39 (fourteen years ago)

voted for tony roko because he should be ashamed, but queen of diamonds was a close second with the "!"

hazardous idea division guy clinched it by listing his weight and height in metric despite living in america (in fact in my old neighborhood).

He's 2.1 m (6'11) tall and weighs 78 kg (172 pounds), more like hazardous diets division guy.

Web Burza might interest me because I would be misled into thinking I could use it for free crap on the internet.

Diesel Laws looks most like a fliar and would get trashed almost immediately.

Black, gray and white HRJ one looks like a credit card. Terribly misleading.

How is a bookmark business card gonna fir in my wallet?

And the ones with terrible taglines are terrible.

I'll go with Diesel Laws as the worst because it's instant trash.

This is mostly otm. A lot of these are not fundamentally bad, design wise - they just look VERY 2003/04 (which is maybe when the sensibilities of the author/editor/etc stopped evolving?

These ones are OK I think: Element, dude in boat, carrot
