Suzy, re 6) funny thing about Wills -- it is the name of one of the halls at Bristol Uni where I was a student, which is notorious for its residents being *just* this kind of person and what is more it has faux Oxbridge architecture, a croquet lawn etc. It is the only Bristol Uni hall to have formal dinner where the wearing of gowns is required.
First time I saw someone wearing a Wills hoodie around Oxford, before the Wills shop opened at Carfax, I assumed it was a Bristol student home for the holidays.

re 13/Garrick Club tie - an actor who is a member of this club was offered a knighthood under Thatcher and sent her the following two words by way of reply: foxtrot, oscar. Sexist yes, Tories not as such...

but yeah fuck a Boden. feel like there are more of that type flopping around at the top of companies now. Are they just less ashamed of themselves?

Osbourne has such a fascinating, memorable face - there's nothing freakish or unusual about it but somehow it is unlike all other human faces - Steve Buscemi is the only guy I can think of who even comes close.

In fact, he liked Cordings so much that he bought it, in order to preserve what he calls an important part of the ‘heritage of England.’

Oh dear - I sometimes dress a little bit like a scruffy version of the bloke on the front of the cordings page... I like to think I express less of an aire of entitlement though.
