So then, you. Are you a quintessential piece of humanity, or a fucknut?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Wednesday, 7 August 2002 22:27 (twenty-two years ago)

So then, you. Are you a quintessential piece of humanity, or a fucknut?

I depends on how many drinks I've had.

brg30 (brg30), Thursday, 8 August 2002 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I ment "It" (belch)

brg30 (brg30), Thursday, 8 August 2002 20:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh god. Depends on the time of day. Usually I think I'm reasonably worthwhile, but not all the time by any means.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 9 August 2002 12:12 (twenty-two years ago)

i am very dud

chaki (chaki), Sunday, 11 August 2002 20:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Nicole, Sunday, 11 August 2002 21:13 (twenty-two years ago)

hstencil, Thursday, 6 November 2003 06:44 (twenty-one years ago)

stence, what's up man? You're about to embark on rock adventure!

Broheems (diamond), Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:11 (twenty-one years ago)

misadventure.

hstencil, Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:17 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm so dud it's classic. I love dumpster diving and today I was at the laundromat and I had an hour to kill, so I went divign behind the drugstore and found 5 lbs worth of boxes of kahlua chocolate and a bunch of medicine and lightbulbs and flea shampoo and birth control pills, none of it opened. I brought it back to the people I stay with and they loved it, then we went out with 6 of us to the all you can eat pizza hut buffet and loaded a bag of food under the table. It was crazy. Then I scored a bunch of cheap tapes for work music, and colored a drawing for the front page of a newspaper. That's my normal day.

sucka (sucka), Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:28 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah that sounds like a dud, as opposed to me, who didn't leave the house today. Whatthefuckever.

hstencil, Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:31 (twenty-one years ago)

sucka you are so classic! i wallow in jealousy at your daily activities!

Emilymv (Emilymv), Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm changing my name to chopped liver.

hstencil, Thursday, 6 November 2003 07:50 (twenty-one years ago)

mei (mei), Thursday, 6 November 2003 08:07 (twenty-one years ago)

chopping liver = dud
chopping broccoli = classic

Emilymv (Emilymv), Thursday, 6 November 2003 08:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't know about being 'classic', but I'm okay I think.

C J (C J), Thursday, 6 November 2003 08:24 (twenty-one years ago)

I agree with CJ, about me obv!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 6 November 2003 08:48 (twenty-one years ago)

51% Classic 49% Dud

Citizen Kate (kate), Thursday, 6 November 2003 09:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I agree with Pinkpanther, about Pinkpanther!

AndI think you're being a tad harsh on your classic percentage there Kate. In the words of the immortal Bruce Forsyth .... higher! higher!

C J (C J), Thursday, 6 November 2003 09:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Aw, well, thanks, CJ, but really, honestly - the percentages are about right. I've just become very good at keeping the Dud portion under control!

Citizen Kate (kate), Thursday, 6 November 2003 09:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Sometimes classic, sometimes dud. It's nice to be told you're classic when you're feeling dud though.

You're all classic

robster (robster), Thursday, 6 November 2003 09:24 (twenty-one years ago)

ILX is classic. Therefore, all you people on it are classic!

sucka (sucka), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:25 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm slowly coming to the conclusion that i rock and you are all gay.

Annouschka (Jody Beth Rosen), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:26 (twenty-one years ago)

33% rock, 33% rot, 33% rule

1% varies from day to day

mookieproof (mookieproof), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Still classic, still j>e>l.

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:37 (twenty-one years ago)

yep, still dud.

chopped liver, Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:53 (twenty-one years ago)

formerly classic. now dud. no phoenix-like rising from the ashes expected.

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:56 (twenty-one years ago)

dud. oh so very dud.

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 6 November 2003 17:57 (twenty-one years ago)

aww... please let me know if you are

hope everything's ok.

s1utsky (slutsky), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:03 (twenty-one years ago)

hstencil the concept that you are a dud is amazing to me. You've always been extremely nice to me, and funny too. Also: new haircut!

Allyzay, Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:09 (twenty-one years ago)

thanks Ally. I wish nice and funny paid the rent, though.

chopped liver, Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Healthwise: dud
Otherwise: semi-classic

Nicolars (Nicole), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, I know that feeling. But eventually that passes and you are able to pay the rent one day. You can't develop classicness one day though, it's just something you got or you don't. Jobs come and go though! Honestly! It's just that NYC is for shit these days.

(I'm not even going to address Bryan's post which I just saw, wtf dude? I already said my piece on the special "Bryan" thread anyway)

Allyzay, Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:13 (twenty-one years ago)

nicolars, what;s up?

A Girl Named Sam (thatgirl), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:18 (twenty-one years ago)

It's just the way it is, Ally. Perhaps someday I'll be classic in my dud-ness a la sucka, but I wouldn't place any bets on it.

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:21 (twenty-one years ago)

au contraire, monsieur hstencil -- one should never be allowed to rate themselves as classic or dud, the critic having too much of a conflict of interest. you can't be in the band and write a review of the band at the same time, so to speak. thus, as an impartial outsider my decision concerning you, mr. hstencil, is final and my rating is as follows:

CLASSIC!

jack cole (jackcole), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Sam, thanks for asking but I really don't want to talk about it much because I don't want it to look like a "boo hoo feel sorry for me" self-pity fest. It's nothing terminal, I should probably try to stop whining and feeling so upset.

Nicolars (Nicole), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:32 (twenty-one years ago)

jack cole OTM.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 6 November 2003 19:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Um, could someone please link to a test that will help me find out what percentage of Dud I am? Yeah, thanks.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Thursday, 6 November 2003 19:52 (twenty-one years ago)

me, classic. you, dud.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Thursday, 6 November 2003 19:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Can't say it any better than that. Sending you a magnum of Champers, Dean.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Thursday, 6 November 2003 20:00 (twenty-one years ago)

*kisses*

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Thursday, 6 November 2003 20:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Hope whatever it is gets sorted for you hstencil.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 6 November 2003 20:06 (twenty-one years ago)

It's alright with me as long as you are by my side,
talk or just say nothing, I don't mind your looks never lie.
I was always on the run, finding out what I was looking for and
I was always insecure, just until I found
Words often don't come easy, I never loved to show you the inside of me oh no my
You were always patience, dragging out what I tried to hide
chorus:
I was always on the run, finding out what I was looking for and
I was always insecure, just until I found
You you were always on my mind, you, you're the one I'm living for
You, you're my everlasting fire, you're my always shining star.
Nights always are good friends, a glass of wine and the lights down low.
You lying beside me, me full of love and filled with hope
chorus
