There are a couple of threads on the subject in and of itself but I'm thinking we need a general 'post whatever' thread for those moments when you go "These creatures called humans, why do they exist and plague my peace of mind so."

How do you win in arguments against people who you can't get through to intellectually?
By phrasing your sentences correctly?

Back to the premise of the thread.
I don't hate people, as a rule, but I sure as shit get tired of their never ending flapdoodle. Some days I think all you need to know about the human race can be summed up by what they choose to carve into trees, picnic tables, park benches, wooden rails, 3000 year old Egyptian temple walls, and other handy items using their trusty pocket knives, which invariably amounts to: HEY! LOOK AT ME.

i think in a dystopian misanthropic future, social networking sites are going to be the primary way we will try to socialize with others but by that time everyone will have hidden everyone else's news feeds because they're "annoying" and in the end everyone is just talking about themselves to no one but themselves and everyone will hate everyone.

xp
Corey, you have my permission to grab them by the scruffs of their suitcoats, whirl them around to face you, and head butt them in the nose. Or just to think about it, lovingly.

I was just thinking the other day – this is totally goofy – of getting a tattoo of Utahraptor saying "people is sometimes kind" because fuck I need a reminder sometimes

those moments when you go "These creatures called humans, why do they exist and plague my peace of mind so."
i had a moment like this yesterday. my nice quiet spot where i go to read had humans crawling all over it. i moved a couple of times, but they kept coming back and blathering and doing that shrieky laugh thing. i'm adhd; i can't concentrate on a book when my brane is picking up other signals.

had it with "people" for a while. you guys are okay. i can't see you or smell you. watching 2nd season of walking dead and the whole fantasy/wish-fulfillment aspect of it kinda strong for me right now. its okay to kill them because they are already dead! or they're from philly. same thing. hahaha! god, i love that show. maria, the kids, that's about all i need from people right about now. it'll pass. probably. i dig the trees. i stare at them for hours.
