I was trying to ignore incipient baldness and grow my hair out too, but the stringy thinness of it didn't homogenize well with my face and clean clothes. Maybe if I were fatter and older it would tie in with the general disheveled look. I ended up buzzing it off with a No. 7 and let my beard grow back and decided to stop fussing with it.

yeh, that picture (which stevies took) maybe doesn't reveal that i have aggressive widow's peak thing going on, so i can't really grow my hair out much w/o it looking like i am investing in a combover of sorts. but yeah, you're a great-looking guy, fuck that hair nonsense. unless you want to be sy sperling. granted i would love to grow my hair out like a fool until it resembles a tasteless floor rug (as opposed to ceiling or wall rugs) but until five yrs from now when they find a male-pattern baldness cure that doesn't involve cheetos addiction i am resigned to being hairless in seattle or wherever ppl live these days

IMO this is good advice for anybody w/ incipient baldness. Trying to grow out your hair to cover baldness is very rarely AGL, because it's always going to be thin. Like, people can still tell you're losing your hair, you know? And it ends up just looking kind of desperate. Just be bald! It totally looks fine.
