Being from Alberta you must know 'The Rodeo Song', which even back in the day was about as funny as a crutch with termites.

if it's gay, fine...otherwise,not nearly as good as bull fights

Based on the display of physical strength of both rider and bull or horse. Just amazing.

Based on the ability to pull at such an event without wearing a sequined blouse, brightly coloured jeans and a cowboy hat. Forget it.

C&A skiwear was called Rodeo. You could tell the Brit kids on the slopes because they were *all* wearing it.

I had a lovely zip necked polo neck from rodeo, wish I still had it now, apart from the fact that it would really show how lardy I was.

Ah - Rodeo Ski wear. My one and only growth spurt ever in my life took place between buying sallopets and getting to wear them on the mountainside. The tightness did reduce my sexual drive though, which is only good on a school trip (though looking at recent reports...)

This might be the place to ask:

What does (the phrase) 'Papa was a rodeo' mean?

the pinefox, Thursday, 9 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

There is a phrase that says that?

Rodeos are awful, and what's up with Rodeo Clowns? Don't they realize that's the stupidest job you could possibly have?

You know never in the same place. Always following the circut.

Yeah, sort of like a "rolling stone"...

Rodeos = classiXor of course. (my name is stolen from an A-class bull rider from Texas. I hope he doesn't mind that I'm using it but I've spoken with a family friend and I think it's okay. he's not really an internet guy I don't think)

Bull riding is hands-down the most thrilling event, but I'm also partial to calf-roping, which actually seems like a useful skill.
