i've never seen convoy but based on the trailer and the c.w. mccall song it's in line to be my favorite movie ever:

i saw blume in love a few months ago and it was mostly excellent, but the ending was bizarre in a bad way. otherwise i'd def go to bat for it as a great lost character-driven '70s flick.

i voted for alice without even looking at the rest of the options - cool movie

Cisco Pike for me. Besides being a good movie, it's got all those great songs from the album that Travis buys Betsy in Taxi Driver.

clemenza, Thursday, 23 June 2011 05:05 (thirteen years ago)

Cisco Pike is pretty flawless. Alice is very good. It's an interesting resume.

Josefa, Thursday, 23 June 2011 05:12 (thirteen years ago)

Heaven's Gate has its moments and I still haven't seen A Star Is Born, but it's either Alice or Alfredo Garcia. Remind me to flip a coin later.

also once when I was like 14 our family was on a road trip in the middle of nowhere, AZ and we saw a whole bunch of trailers parked on the side of the road. I made my dad stop the car because I knew it was a film shoot. Some guy at the craft services table said it was a Kris Kristofferson movie about cyborgs in the desert. So I took a shine to him after that.

The movie is called Knights. Still haven't seen it but this is the imdb description:
In the future, a kickboxer and a robot lead a revolution against ruling cyborgs.

I desperately wanna see Sailor Who Fell from Grace..., it's one of my favourite books.

Inclined to vote for Pat Garrett of the ones I've seen.

Dear Graphic Designer/Artist:

1. Whose head is this?
2. Where is the head of the girl in pink underpants?

Anyway, I have only seen "Alice," so.

Shart Shaped Box (Phil D.), Thursday, 23 June 2011 12:04 (thirteen years ago)

convoy is fun, watched it on late nite TV millions of years ago. love that "all-star" cast like a made for TV movie. but i have to vote for this violent epic:

that movie is crazy but putting that in this poll seems a bit off, he's in the movie for what, 3 minutes?

Ah, yes, OK. That still leaves Mystery Floating Head.

Mystery Floating Head also has an arm.

Recently learned that Donnie Fritts apparently has small parts in a bunch of these movies, maybe even Alfredo Garcia, simply by virtue of being Kris's buddy.

I've got Sailor on VHS at my house. The cover boasts "***"
Really? Three stars?
It's not as good as a lot of other movies on this list, but it's okay.

Trip Maker, Thursday, 23 June 2011 14:52 (thirteen years ago)

yeah, out of the ones i've seen here, his best performance is in pg & billy the kid. he's great in "alice" too.

tylerw, Thursday, 23 June 2011 14:59 (thirteen years ago)

I'll just assume that--despite the lack of a rating--this film won't deliver the much anticipated Morgan-Ashley sex scene.
