I don't believe Max Rose has even started filming yet, has it?

shake it, shake it, sugary pee (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Thursday, 23 June 2011 15:47 (fourteen years ago)

Judd Apatow is in talks to direct.

ephendophile (Eric H.), Thursday, 23 June 2011 15:47 (fourteen years ago)

Fun continuity gaffes (picture kicks in after 10 secs).

Let me tell you something about that song. (Eazy), Thursday, 23 June 2011 15:55 (fourteen years ago)

at least this one includes the Tashlin films that Eric so weirdly excludes.

already president FYI (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 June 2011 16:46 (fourteen years ago)

weird indeed

da croupier, Thursday, 23 June 2011 16:47 (fourteen years ago)

...cause this is a non-Dino acting poll, and the other is for Lewis as director?

Mucho! Macho! Honcho!: Turn Off The Dark (C. Grisso/McCain), Thursday, 23 June 2011 16:52 (fourteen years ago)

Yep, plus live-action Tashlin is so overrated.

ephendophile (Eric H.), Thursday, 23 June 2011 16:54 (fourteen years ago)

Ah I get it. No Deano means no Artists and Models or the poignant Martin/Lewis farewell Hollywood or Bust. Oh well still going with The Ladies Man.

Live-action Tashlin is eternal. For a non-Jerry masterpiece, check out the pervy, Oscar-narrated (not a typo) Susan Slept Here.

Kevin John Bozelka, Thursday, 23 June 2011 16:57 (fourteen years ago)

Tashlin/Lewis films are the work of a two-headed auteur

tho my fave Tashlin film is still w/ Bob Hope

already president FYI (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 June 2011 17:03 (fourteen years ago)

Oh yeah that's a masterpiece too.

joyless shithead (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 30 June 2011 19:42 (fourteen years ago)

And his appearance on Pink Lady and Jeff. And his jaw-dropping performance as Professor Frink's dad on The Simpsons. And the episode of Ben Casey he directed. And.....

Kevin John Bozelka, Thursday, 30 June 2011 20:06 (fourteen years ago)

Have you seen his TV perf as The Jazz Singer? or did I make that up?

joyless shithead (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 30 June 2011 21:17 (fourteen years ago)

Only the chunks that are on youtube.

Scorsese fanboy-driven results Morbs can endorse.

ephendophile (Eric H.), Friday, 1 July 2011 18:48 (fourteen years ago)

i don't quite get this auteurist thing where every movie you like is a 'masterpiece.'

(The Other) J.D. (J.D.), Friday, 1 July 2011 21:38 (fourteen years ago)

I don't subscribe to that, who ya got?

joyless shithead (Dr Morbius), Friday, 1 July 2011 22:06 (fourteen years ago)

I think The King of Comedy is Scorsese's, um, masterpiece and is waaaay better than many of the films on this poll, e.g., Cinderfella, Boeing Boeing, etc. But the Scorsese dorks needed to stay off this thread.
