I thought this thread would have more posts by now. Wouldn't it be an adventure if social order really did break down, at least for a little while? You could barter with your neighbors and poop in a bucket and read by candlelight. People might buy fewer electric guitars and amps, which would suck for you. It'd be neat if everyone on your block suddenly had a garden in their backyards.
