Andif I remember correctly her real name was Margaret and she started calling herself Kaia after a trip to Africa.

I remember thinking that had I lived in that house, I would have either pulled a Ruthie and drank myself into rehab or a Justin and attempted to make my roommates destroy each other

She seemed to really relish being mean to Amaya after Amaya did whatever she did that justified everyone being mean to her.
And then she decided she "liked" Matt.

I remember Amaya saying some stupid shit about Ruthie at the beginning but watching her go from being "the vain popular girl" to "crying target of unearned ire" was really difficult to watch; Ruthie's behavior/support in the midst of all of that given the shit that happened earlier really made me love her more.

Yes, Ruthie definitely ended up being the most admirable and likable of that cast. The others (except Teck, I think) were obviously enjoying ganging up on the weak one and being able to "justify" it.

Oh man, I loved RealWorldSucks. Never watched the show, only the recaps which treated the participants with the scathing derision they deserved.
