Phelps and co don't kick off until the 24th but Keri-Anne Payne and the open water dudes do their 10km open water on Tuesday. I am WELL STOKED you guys.

Excellent win in the 10km for Keri-Anne Payne today! She's qualified for the Olympics and managed not to get kicked in the head by anyone. My massive girl-crush on her continues:

Going to the pool like a moth to the luscious moth of the opposite sex

First heats session down and plenty of stuff going on:

- Chloe Sutton OUT of the 400m free, Becky Adlington through but only just, Pellegrini looking in total control of everything, Chinese girl completely crashed out.
- Men's 400m free shaping up to be a corker with all the usual suspects through (including Yannick Agnel who nearly didn't even enter it)
- Awesome swim from Alex Dale Oen to qualify fastest in the 100m breaststroke, poor dude was in tears afterwards when d1ckhead reporters asked him about events in Norway
- Panto villain Cesar Cielo fastest in the 50m fly despite everyone giving him massive evils, Skippy in second (I think him and Therese Alshammar are possibly the only medal contenders at these world champs who were born in the 70s), plus Laure Manaudou's little brother in third.
- Solid fly and medley swims from the British girls but their 4x100 free relay sucked massive b4lls. Better step up for the medley, dudes!

Btw finals start on BBC red button in about 5 mins if anyone fancies it. Though obv I am quite happy to sit here talking to myself :)
