Yeah, there was a plan to go up on the weekend of the 7th or 8th for record shopping and other fun in Christchurch. I've also been in touch with Bruce Russell to do something of some sort, even if only for giving him money for music. ;-)

I am so excited about ned arriving tomorrow! Di is playing on September 11th as far as I know, plus Spacedust and the Try Hards. I am playing at Arclectic on Monday night!

I thought Ned might like to go out for a nice dinner tomorrow night. I really fancy Jizo, but if that is too pricey how about Tokyo Garden?

that's really, really good - I was going to get tickets for Salmonella Dub with some friends on the 13th (I'm leaving for the north island the next day!) then got paranoid that all yr gigs would clash with it. hurrah! solid week of poetry/music to remember Dunedin by!
(& I'm seeing Meterman & andoru's new band tomorrow night - free entry & all, & apparently Meterman have stopped being mediocre Bailterspace imitators into quite good Shellac improvisers, haha).

Hey Duane -- right now we're all just having fun and all.
