I'm using Explorer now . Should I switch to Netscape 7.0 ? Which one is better ? Thank you for your time.

As far as I can tell they both suck equally. I used to be on Explorer, until a friend who claims to know about such things switched me to Netscape.

i use netscape 4.77 even tho i cd easily update it: but the netscape update is WAY TOO LIKE explorer which suXoRs horribly

sometimes i use opera, but only on osX, which i usually shun: opera is v.v.v.fast but it has strange glitches

Yeah, but have you tried 7.0 preview release?

opera, opera, opera

But , don't I have to pay for opera , or what ?

the free version has an ad banner. i used to just put things over it if it was bugging me, like opera's own search window is the perfect size to cover the ads. i recently paid the $35 to license mine because i was really enjoying the program. i get a little more screen space now. there are pros and cons, but its my fave browser

I've only just now started using IE for Mac at home because Netscape 6 was a mess and a half (and also because too many pages out there seem to only work under IE, which is tres obnoxious).

what ron said. (i.e. 'opera, opera, opera!')

one year passes...
So my Internet Explorer is screwy today, so I switched to Netscape 7.0 for the first time. Much to my surprise, there's a little pink-and-yellow ILX logo next to the URL! I noticed that sites with obvious logos get this treatment, too -- but where'd the ILX one come from??

I use Mozilla Firebird 0.7 www.mozilla.org

Netscape is based on the Mozilla code.

And Firebird is the sleekest, streamlined flavour.
