had to vote Liam, have always hated him. Something particularly odious about Scottish Tories IMO.

Did HShipman get to choose his own sobriquet?

Mark G, Monday, 10 October 2011 12:59 (fourteen years ago)

shipman wasn't the most prolific serial killer either :(

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:03 (fourteen years ago)

that shouldn't count against him though.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 10 October 2011 13:08 (fourteen years ago)

Fwiw that dude from Weston-super-Mare is a cunt.

Matt DC, Monday, 10 October 2011 13:12 (fourteen years ago)

britain doesn't even do the best serial killers anymore :( we are rubbish

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:13 (fourteen years ago)

zverotic discourse (jim in glasgow), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:26 (fourteen years ago)

Fwiw that dude from Weston-super-Mare is a cunt.

Everyone from Weston-Super-Mare is a cunt. I don't think I've been there since I failed my third driving test. Fuck Weston-Super-Mare.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 10 October 2011 13:28 (fourteen years ago)

Voting for Liam though. Don't think you can get much worse as a human being than 'Tory Defence Secretary'.

Matt DC, Monday, 10 October 2011 13:30 (fourteen years ago)

i used to work with a guy from weston-super-mare, funnily enough he was a cunt. perhaps the town should be called we're-all-cunts? i think i shall write to the mayor and suggest it

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:35 (fourteen years ago)

by this, shipman tops the charts on proven claims -- props to that greek nun though, much less opportunity

mark s, Monday, 10 October 2011 13:39 (fourteen years ago)

Jeffrey Archer is from Weston-super-Mare iirc.

Lars and the Lulu Girl (NickB), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:40 (fourteen years ago)

that colombian guy with the 1853 year prison sentence is probably the real winner there

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 13:57 (fourteen years ago)

just remembered i had this same conversation a few years back with dom (rip). kinda shocked he's not on that list really

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:05 (fourteen years ago)

for some reason i always mix up Liam Fox in my head with Niall Ferguson, to make this amorphous Godzilla-sized supercunt.

anyway, voting for that cunt in the picture.

Dios mio! This kid is FUN to hit! (Noodle Vague), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:06 (fourteen years ago)

Sentenced to 1,853 years but could only be imprisoned for 30 which was reduced to 22 after aiding investigators.[2]

I've heard of people serving roughly half their sentence but that's ridiculous, do you have to be sentenced to 84 years to actually serve a year in prison in Colombia?

Some British tabloids expressed joy at his suicide and encouraged other serial killers to follow his example; The Sun ran a celebratory front page headline, "Ship Ship hooray!"

for some reason i always mix up Liam Fox in my head with Niall Ferguson, to make this amorphous Godzilla-sized supercunt.

Coincidentally Ferguson is exonerating another mass murderer this week.

henri grenouille (Frogman Henry), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:20 (fourteen years ago)

dom is presumably going for the record

mark s, Monday, 10 October 2011 14:29 (fourteen years ago)

Dr Fox [pictured] uses his title on the basis of having a doctorate in marketing

imo this makes him the worst Dr Fox in Britain, although the tearoom Dr Fox died in the 19th century so his connection to the tearoom is at best tenuous

the green manalishi (with the big boobies) (DJ Mencap), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:30 (fourteen years ago)

presuming shipman had the most impressive beard of these champs

Once Were Moderators (DG), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:39 (fourteen years ago)

Liam Fox is clearly the worst. Scumbag.

“Nice view, appalling service, dull menu.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2011

My husband, son and I visited in May. We had high hopes as the majority of places in Weston are aimed at tourists, and are generally all about chips etc. The cafe itself has been nicely decorated, but the service was outstandingly bad, even for Weston, and the menu repeats what can be found in every basic cafe - sandwiches and jacket potatoes with school-dinner fillings. Whilst waiting at the counter we were barked at by a waitress (who I now know to be the owner), to 'sit down if you are ordering'. She then couldn't find any menus, mumbling about people taking them etc. By this time we knew we didn't really want to stay, but with a hungry toddler, ordered two drinks and a piece of cake. It took 15 minutes to bring one cup of coffee (badly made), one bottle of water and one piece of cake (which had sunk so much in the middle that the icing on top had been used as render to level it off). The younger staff were enthusiastic, but lacked any direction, they didn't seem to know which tables they were looking after, and only one person seemed to be able to make coffee. Hopefully it will improve with time, but after such rude service and dreadful cake, I won't be going back to find out.

We had high hopes

Nobody to blame but themselves.

“Rude staff”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

As it was a warm day. we decided to have dinner and drinks outside at this establishment (Dr Fox's Tearoom). While we were waiting for our food to be served my wife and daughter went to the toilet facilities to change the grandson's nappy. When my wife came out the 'Blond Hitler' (whom I assume is the owner) shouted at her 'these are not public conveniences.' My wife came out and initially confused as she thought she meant the toilet facilities were for staff only, But on checking, they are for customers as well. Before she could tell me the story - the 'Blond Hitler' came out with our meals and said ' I did not realise you were eating here' put the plates on the table and left. When I paid the bill I said she should check who her customes were and all she said was 'sorry.'' When we told the story to other people who we met at an evening Wedding do that weekend, we were told that she does have a temper and if you complain she is not bothered. One friend told us they arrived at 11.35 and asked if the breakfast was still available? They were told 'NO we only do breakfast until 11.30'. In my opinion with this attitude this Tea room does not deserve customers and because I know a few people (local and visitors) who have had problems here, when we visit WSM in future we will give this Tearoom a wide berth

Lars and the Lulu Girl (NickB), Monday, 10 October 2011 14:54 (fourteen years ago)

Neil F is edging ahead, then

tbf, the idea of "icing used as render" is not unappealing

mark s, Monday, 10 October 2011 14:55 (fourteen years ago)

on a car ride home on a late sunday night w/ my mate brad and his dad, dr fox played my name is and it was the first time any of us had heard eminem. i remember how much brads dad giggled at the lyrics and was all o_O at him from the back seat. for that i will have fond memories of dr fox, even if he is insufferable

Ravaging Rick Rude (a hoy hoy), Monday, 10 October 2011 15:00 (fourteen years ago)

Rude service and dreadful cake is definitely worse than killing 218 patients in this particular third-place play-off.

Matt DC, Monday, 10 October 2011 15:02 (fourteen years ago)

i was gonna say that it should really be relative to reasonable expectations, but then i suppose the least you should be able to expect from your doctor is for him not to deliberately kill you.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 10 October 2011 15:06 (fourteen years ago)

but still, WSM's roundabouts alone should give you pause to expect structurally unsound battenburg.
