doing an all day horror film festival in my house for peeps next sunday. what do i do?

meant to do this for years, but getting a fair amount of interest finally from peeps. booze. pizzas. thinking 6 films, rolling out at noon with time for smoke breaks and drunks needing to pee.

srsly considering The Last Man on Earth, gotta find out how many peeps have seen Carnival of Souls, maybe Ils (Them). idk. fighting hard against the inevitable lets watch Night of the Living Dead for the infinite time. Also toying with the Haunting and The Beast with five fingers for the classic round.

this is hard.

also watching a Val Lewton film per recommendation of KJB tomorrow and thinking that could make the classic and obscure cut, assuming i dont hate it.

I really, really, really wish I knew the name of the random horror movie I saw in a French hotel in 1989. I think it was an Italian movie but it was dubbed in French so I understood literally none of it. All I remember is a scene where a dude was skulking around in a basement filled with statues; he pressed up against one and someone whipped a chain around his neck and strangled him until his head fell off.
