This dude's site is gonzo. He's used Street View to virtually travel around the globe, running into hookers, guns, segways, wild animals, fires, death, some beautiful little moments and lots of middle fingers.

don't understand Cosmo Vitelli's post. I think the guy just opens Google Street View and starts wandering around.
― wolves lacan, Saturday, 22 October 2011 19:10 (thirteen years ago)
What leads me away from the notion that this guy has other people randomly sending and submitting images for this series is the uniformity of the image pixelation. Judging from how large the images scale, it seems likely that the dude is starting w/ screengrabs taken from a hueg monitor.
― now they know how many holes it takes to fill buffandmaxsmom (Pillbox), Saturday, 22 October 2011 19:19 (thirteen years ago)
They're clearly not uniformly pixelated though, see, e.g., the Wayne's World shot. Also it could easily be people sending him the locations, which he then goes to and grabs at the resolutions he wants (you can also zoom in/out)
― pass the duchy pon the left hand side (musical duke) (Hurting 2), Saturday, 22 October 2011 21:39 (thirteen years ago)
i think jon finds all them himself
the resolution isnt uniform across street view, so that would explain the nonuniformity of the pixelation
